The iPhone 15 brought Dynamic Island down from the Pro lineup for the first time, along with a 48MP main camera capable of a lossless 2x zoom crop. It was also the first standard iPhone to switch from Lightning to USB-C, following a shift affecting the whole lineup that year (driven partly by EU regulation). It kept the A16 Bionic chip from the previous year's Pro models. It launched in Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Pink.
